The Contrast of Colors

Beautiful colors. Blue signifies the span of sky, green is nature. Both very relaxing, but yesterday’s battle of paints was exactly the opposite of comfort.

The tears. The tears coming from a very sweet victory that was waited for ages was cleansing the sore bodies of players oozing the word, “AT LAST.” Truly a combination of very hard-work, determination, timing and a big heart strong enough to bring them all to the top. Season’s mvp’s exceptional talent and skills cannot be denied. Truly Alyssa Valdez is a piece of rock. The kid’s heart affected the whole team which led her teammates on forcefully being better and best yesterday. Whether they admit or not, the “positive insecurities” inside the blue team ignites the hidden power they have in the games and so everyone was excellent. The blue team indeed soared high and made history. Being the underdog, this time they made it, congrats!

Now to the team that I've always supported, I was very devastated. I was very sad about the lost.  The tears, anew. The tears of disappointment, of anger, of discontentment, of hunger and the tears of a new hope coming. It was unexpected. The season was started very well as for them and we anticipated a La Salle-NU finals. It was 180 degrees change of game, I hate stereotyping. That moment you expect things to happen, using your own reasoning, indeed the ways of man are far from God.
Is it ironic to see half of the court extremely rejoicing, and the other troubled? Half of it overjoyed for the first championship they owned, and the other distressed of the unanticipated defeat after being champion in a row? That must be very hard.

But I believe losing is not a form of failure but rather it is a manifestation of you having seeds of greatness trying to win against the uncertainties of the world. If the battle of this world is to determine who is the mightiest, we will just keep on fighting and fighting. Once we get there, someone will come and be mightier than you are yesterday, and you will then be trying to be the greatest again and it repeats over and over again until you find yourself wasted your time trying to prove something and being someone to the world.
The game is warfare of faith. Now it’s up to them to determine what kind of faith.

Is it a faith in you?

Faith in the team?

Faith in the coach?

Faith in FATE?

Or Faith in God, and His plan?

All except the last one is full of reservations, full of fears and suspicions. Why? Because you’ll never know at to what to extent a human can perform. And fate is a form of accident, it happens one in a million, it happens by chance, and I don’t believe in fortune.
Here’s to the secret of having the right kind of faith (faith in God), in Hebrews 11:1 it says, “Faith is BEING SURE OF WHAT WE HOPE FOR, AND BEING CERTAIN OF WHAT WE DO NOT SEE.”
Faith rooted in the world is uncertain, exactly the opposite of the Faith rooted in Christ Jesus.
I advise you to have of faith that stands and cannot be hesitated.

But for now, I just want to say to the lady archers, YOU HAVE A LOT OF BOWS TO PULL AHEAD OF YOU. You are not alone in this journey of falling, we still have the next thing to do, and that’s to stand erect, and hit again until we strike right in the middle of the RIGHT FAITH.
We do not throw back memories to ponder on, but we step on them. We move on but not move away. Don’t put setbacks.

We are fighters, we fight. If we win, we continue to fight. If we lose, we continue to fight. Whether we win or we lose we are called fighters. Just keep on fighting, better.
