1. Lagi nating sinasabi na pag ready na tayo, dun nalang natin gagawin ang mga bagay, but we do not realize that in order to be ready you have to make the first step. (Italized part quoted from Jayme of PBB All in)
Nakakatakot naman talaga. Kase once you open your doors, things keep on coming, and you feel overwhelmed. And when you want it to stop, you can’t.
Sabi nga nila, the first step is always the hardest. Kase the first step is the mark that you are totally, as in entirely different.
Minsan naman, you take the first step, and then mali pala. Now what people mostly do is they step back. Which is mali, kung mali pala yung natapakan mo, hindi ka dapat UURONG. You don’t step back, you step out.
Sabi nga ng paborito kong author, “Mistakes are just sign of WHAT WORKS and WHAT DOESN’T.” Ganda no, trial and error yan. Sabi pa firsthand experience is effective than textbooks.
There is a big possibility that you could be wrong, HOWEVER there is great possibility that you could be right. Risk it.

So sabi sa economics, when the supply decreases, the price increases.

Not unlike pag madaming tingting na pinagsama sama.

3. Confident Trust.

Hindi nya inexplain further, pero I came up with this. There is a big difference between CONFIDENT AND TRUST and CONFIDENT TRUST.

You can be confident and trust God.
You can also have a confident trust in God.

You can’t say you trust God and not trust yourself as a result.
However, you can trust yourself and not trust God.

This is where we mostly fail, we trust God pero it doesn’t manifest sa buhay natin. We say we trust God pero we’re like “defeated.”

Hindi naman yun mayabang, when we show courage.

Let:
TRUSTING GOD = FAVOR
TRUSTING YOURELF = PREPARATION

Trusting God + Trusting Yourself = Confident Trust

4. Magandang motivation ang DEADLINE.

Tinanong ako nung classmate ko, sabi nya, “Gagawa naka ulit thesis o megpaynawa ka?”

“Megpaynawa kumu.”

“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” – James 1:5

So if we want to apply the knowledge we have correctly, we must ask God for wisdom.

Ang galing ng batang ito,so here’s what I got:
·        Ask for knowledge (look for it then, study, read and meditate),
·        Then ask for wisdom so you can apply the knowledge correctly,
·        Ask for strength so you can manage to handle both knowledge and wisdom. Check!

5. Self-doubt is a notorious joy-stealer.

Para satin to. So sa mga katulad ko nagt-thesis dyan, are you confident with your results?

I feel medyo shallow pa ang research ko. And sometimes I ask myself, is this all? Yung nabuo ko na yung buong book, then I start to ask myself, how well do I know MY BOOK?

Self-doubt is a lie when used against you. Kaya nga sabi ni Napoles when asked, “I invoke my rights against self-incrimination.”

Self-doubt is self-incrimination.

Self-destructive yan. Pero here’s the other side of the story, it can be used as an advantage.

It’s good that we examine ourselves from time to time, which means we are checking where we stand.

Speaking of where we stand, sabi ni Sir Tars kagabi, “Know where you stand.”

Know where you stand so that you know what kind of effort you’ll exert to keep up.

It’s alright to hope, expect and wait. But be realistic about making efforts. After all, faith without works is dead.

“But someone will say, ‘You have faith; I have deeds.’ Show me your faith without deeds, and I WILL SHOW YOU MY FAITH BY WHAT I DO.”    - James 2:18
