In Order to Love, One Must Hate
In order to love, one must hate.
If you love someone, then you must hate yourself destroying your commitment to the person.
If you love your friend, you must hate hanging up at his worst.
If you love your parents, you must hate dishonouring them.
If you love yourself, you must hate being devalued.
If you love what you do, you must hate giving up.
If you love God, then you MUST, you must hate sin.
Therefore in order to love, one needs to hate.
Hate like anger can be acceptable if it is used against abominable things. I don't say that you practice hatred. All I'm saying is that you cant conform to everything and say that you are just being understanding and considerate.
God is love, but never forget that God is holy too.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. (1 Corinthians 13:6)
What did Valentine do to honour him as a symbol of love? I say, greater love has none but this, that you would lay your life for your friends. (John 15:13)
